What is this - PLEASE?

G'day all,

Just picked up one of my Ficus to do some adjusting and discovered this growth, does anyone know what it is and is it detremental to my tree, and also what should I do about it?

This is a ficus benjamina and the tree looks like need more direct sunlight.
The ficus benjamina is a very fast growing tree and need lot of foods and lot os sun. If for some reason they dont receive much ligth you need to control the water to prevent fungus growth.

I have seen this gall on some Ficus. I know of no way to treat it except to cut off the lump.
