I am about to exhibit this planting and am wondering which front to use. Which do you think is best?

I like the first picture better. The small island rock seems to have more depth or distance.
Can you tell us anymore about the rock and plants?
Anyway good work!

Thanks for your replies guys.
Raiun I take your point that the smaller island should be the more distant one.
The main problem as I saw it was that the main rock in the first photo seems to have a reverse taper in that position. Rotated, in the second, it's wider at the bottom and the bottom tree to the right fits against the rock better. The whole composition also seems static in the first with more of a movement to the right in the second. The only thing I don't like with this position is the shape of the bottom left tree.

You're right, I see what your saying about the reverse taper.
The secound does seem more stable and static. And yet somehow the first seems more intresting(to ME)maybe theres more negative space and movement in the rock in the first photo.
In the first photo the second tree up on the right seems to cover the reverse taper( where the rock is actually bigger)
Either way It could sure set on my bench.
