Meeting with Ron Martin and workshop on raintree

Last weekend I met up with Ron Martin down in Jupiter while he visited for the open house Jim Moody put on. I have talked with Ron regularly on bonsaitalk forum so it was a treat to meet him. I signed up for a bring your own tree workshop with him and picked out a brazillian raintree the week prior to seeing him for the workshop. Here is the before picture-

And now after a short amount of work we came up with this. The branches are long but I am waiting for backbudding and the picture is bad. So what do you think?

And finally me with Jim Moody's brazillian raintree for some inspiration. I of course had to blink at the wrong time. The big shocker of the day, I'm only 14 years old (in case you didn't know that yet).

I just looked back at the after picture that I had, and I must say that brazillian raintrees grow really quckly.

I will post a picture of how it looks currently soon. It is too late to take the picture now though.
