local bonsai species (bonsai con especies autoctonas de tu pais)

Here's a topic for discussion. People who are in the tropics doing bonsai, are there any local species that you use for bonsai that aren't known internationally? Post pictures of your bonsai in these species.

One of the species we use in Barbados is Clerodendron Aculeatum.

Hi Jojo,

As far as I know blue bells only grow in some part of Indonesia and Philippines. The scientific names is not very sure yet, Some people said: Desmodium sp. But I am not sure about that. It grows with the micture of sand and humus, 6 by 4.
